CONSULTANT: F.W. Gaunt FCII

Frank Gaunt has spent his career in the insurance and financial services industry with a wide range of experience including underwriting, sales, planning, marketing, sales management and more recently recruitment and training. In 1984 he formed Personnel Consultancy Services to provide a more professional recruitment service to individuals and organisations. In 1998 the name of the organisation was changed to Frank Gaunt Associates.

His early years were spent in Bradford in the Branch office of a major composite insurer, initially in Fire and Accident underwriting, moving on to sales. Obtained Associateship of The Chartered Insurance Institute.

The following four years were spent in sales development in the City of London before moving into marketing and product development. During this period he qualified as a Fellow of The Chartered Insurance Institute and became part-time Lecturer in Marketing and Statistics at the City of London Polytechnic.

A three-year period in sales planning led to an appointment in Sales Management in the Midlands where, in less than three years, an initial revenue of several millions was more than doubled. He was then involved in planning and implementing a new life operation and subsequently the recruitment and technical training of a life specialist sales force and branch back-up resources.
